Just yesterday, the Galaxy A5 (2018) is spotted on the HTML5test website.
No official details about the new Galaxy A series have been confirmed, but the devices are reportedly launching early next year.
According to the listing, Samsung Galaxy J3 (2018) will retain the same 5-inch display size as well as 720 x 1280 HD resolution as the 2017 version. An unreleased Samsung phone with the model number SM-J337 has appeared on GFXBench and its key specifications have been revealed. However, the processor is mentioned to come coupled with the powerful Mali G71 GPU.
Surprisingly, in comparison to its successor, the Galaxy J3 from Samsung was having a better primary camera of 13MP sensor and the storage capacity was same 2GB RAM and 16GB internal memory. It runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box with the customized TouchWiz UI laid on top. In the imaging department, the new smartphone gets an 8-megapixel primary camera with autofocus and flash, and a 5-megapixel front shooter.
“While the Galaxy A5 (2018) will have an Infinity Display, it may not be curved”. Both the cameras are said to support up to 1080p video recording.
Apart from that, the GFX listing also reveals that the phone will come with all the necessary sensors like accelerometer, gyroscope and proximity sensor and other features like Bluetooth, GPS, and WiFi.
A year down the line, the story is once again the same, which makes us assume that the company is getting ready to refresh the Galaxy J3 Prime and probably the entire family on other carriers. The processor on the handset seems to be a quad-core Exynos chipset with a clock speed of 1.5GHz.
The smartphone is backed by a 2,400mAh battery and lacks fast charging technology.
The model number SM-J330F, Galaxy J3 smartphone’s sequel is rumored to be released by the company in the mid of 2018.
