Traditionally, inserting video involves copy and pasting the source code into your source code for the entry your are writing. Here is a quicker way to accomplish this, without having to hit the "source" button (top left) when submitting an article.

First off, this short cut only works for the following carriers (more will be added):

Here is an example if you were wanted to insert a youtube video:

Let's say you like the following video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p0Y7yjxJVlc

Check out the numbers/letters that I have bolded. Pretty much all video carriers have an id number like this. So, simply type this into your article: {youtube}place bolded id number here{/youtube (please note, I left the final "}" bracket off so it would not think I was inserting video)

With simple brackets and a backslash inbetween the two brackets on the second one, alone with the i.d. number in the middle, we now have the youtube video successfully inserted in a content item.
