Number 5 (NR) - San Diego State - Things were looking good for them after a close 8 point loss to the Golden Domers, but then showed their true colors in being spanked by fellow So Cal neighbor San Jose State by score of 35-10 are off this week until they open up conference play against number 3 powerless Idaho.

Number 4 (NR) - Washington Muskies - Mmm, mmm good? No not really at 0-3 they make their debut into the bottom 5 on the heels of a bye-week after being drubbed the week prior by Oklahoma by the score of 55-14. Face their conference opener against Stanford next Saturday.

Number 3 (5) - The biggest mover this week is none other than previous number 5 Idaho scandals, who I told you has the making of something special even if they do have a win. They earned this spot by being spanked by previous number 4 Utah State by score of 42-17. Face another bottom 5 match-up against number 5 San Diego State on the road, look for another LOSS.

Number 2 (2) - North Texas State gang green -So far NTS impresses us with a 12-47 average score. The green as off this past week but have a good beating in store for them Saturday against Rice.

Number 1 (1) - Florida International "yellow cats" - Was off last week so that they can really prepare for their next loss. Next humiliation will be at home against South Florida.

I am starting to see a trend develop this year in that my top bottom 3 schools seem to really be separating themselves from the rest of the country. Dropping out of this week's poll were Utah State and UAB. Well that's about it for this week, however keep an eye on Syracuse and Eastern Michigan. See y'all next week.
