is how I see the 2008 MLB season shaping up by October. I went out on
limb with a few predictions like St. Louis finishing second in the NL
Central and Minnesota doing the same in the AL Central.
My division winners in the NL are: Philadelphia, Chicago and L.A. with San Diego as the Wild Card. As for the AL, it’s New York, Cleveland, Seattle and Boston as the Wild Card. Also, my rule of thumb is to evaluate the standings beginning June 1st. Basically, at this point there’s still four more months left in the season including a break for the summer classic and the July 31st trading deadline. So, why jump to conclusions about the standings in early May? Anyway, feel free to disagree and I’ll check back June 1st.
