Some stories appear one day and are gone the next. Some stories seem to
have a shelf life such as the USC/Reggie Bush story. On 10/21/07 we
first discussed the repeat abusing of allowable recruiting phone calls
by Indiana University basketball Coach Kelvin Sampson.
IU is having a very nice season and Sampson's phone shennanigans have been practically forgotten about by this author. Indiana put a butt kicking on Michigan State saturday night. Dicky V did the broadcast and was very hard on sampson the whole game. With all the stuff swirling around Indiana, who lost DJ White in the first half, played an inspired game. Gordon took control in the second half and MSU had no answer. Whether you like Indiana or not, it was sad to see IU put on a dominate performance only to be absolutely overshadowed by their coach and the NCAA. |
