This weekend I visited some old college friends in Orlando, two of which have acquired the catch phrase "get some" to their already fierce vocab repertoire and say it in response to everything. If you think about it, get some is much better than Nike's "Just do it" ad campaign. When has it ever been good for somebody to tell you to just do it? Just do it? Why don't you just go ahead and do it, a-hole!?

This weekend's get some campaign was soaring when my friend taped paper that read "get some" on his hat prior to playing beer pong, then reeled off 7 straight wins (2 against me).

It's fair to say the get some propaganda machine reached an all-time high when the New York Giants scored on their final drive to beat the New England Patriots.

Tom Brady is knocked down 9 times and is sacked 5 times. GET SOME! David Tyree makes a remarkable catch to give the Giants a first down on the final drive. GET SOME! I'm getting a beer, ordering some wings and then talking to the pretty lady across the bar. GET SOME, GET SOME, GET SOME!

As with most major upsets, the line play was the difference in the game. The Giants defensive line was getting some all day. Eli Manning has my respect as a quarterback and his unpredictability at times could be a good thing in comparisons with Peyton. It's official, the Manning brothers own New England and the entire NFL. Get some.

Don't feel sorry for Tom Brady either. He'll quickly go back to his woman and get some soon enough. He's also got a few good years left so he can try to get some more championships.

Monday is here and I'm ready to start the week out by making some cash and creating new opportunities to do the same. I'm going to try and walk the dog more. Get some.
