We then have Bobby Patrino quit on his team.

We then have Coach Rodriguez running away from his players, school, and fans pre bowl game, breaking a thousand promises along the way, and destroying the "Michigan Man" myth to boot. But noooo, that is not enough.

We reported on DeathRattle Tuesday that possibly 20 FSU footballers will miss the bowl game because of academic cheating. Today we are hearing it could be as many as 25 players. 25 players off an 85 man roster with Bobby Bowden saying no redshirts will be burnt. Way to go guys. That internet test must have been bitch.

Two of Clemson's top tacklers will not play in their bowl game. Senior linebackers Nick Watkins and Tramaine Billie have been declared academically inelibible. How about that for senior leadership.

New Mexico's starting running back Rodney Fergusion will not play Saturday against Nevada having also been declared academically ineligible.

Three Iowa Hawkeyes will be tranferring. WR Dominique Douglas, and DBs Cedric Everson and Abe Sattterfield are off the Hawkeyes. There is no reason given for Everson or Satterfield. You may remember Douglas got the season off to a rousing start for the Hawkeyes when he was busted for unauthorized use of a credit card. While awaiting trial on the credit card charges Douglas was arrested for theft of DVDs from an Iowa City Wal-Mart. Douglas will be sentenced on the charge card case January 25. Wonder where he will play next year?

Ouch...Two Hawkeyes in Trouble

Not to be out done by coaches and players, and as has been reported on DeathRattle, we have a Big Ten official who has had a history of bankruptcy, casino gambling, child abuse, and allegations of sexual harassment. A crew chief to boot. We have no idea if this is a story that has legs or not, but have you seen some screwy calls this year?

For me the college bowl season needs to get started because the off the field goings on is about enough to make one puke.

I've seen a couple of things today that I need to share with you or rant about-your choice. CB Donald washington and reserve DB Eugene Clifford are ineligible to play for OSU in the National Championship game. It is the "violation of undiclosed team rules" thing. Great job guys. Hope you guys had fun. I've ranted about Rodriguez, but I have also asked the question about coaches ethics regarding attempting to recruit players to your new school that you were recruiting to your old school. I read a quote today from Bo Pelini-LSU defensive coordinator who is now the Nebraska coach, "I would not recruit any player I was recruiting to LSU to the Cornhuskers-that wouldn't be right and I won't do it." There you go. I thought there was some type of coaches honor or ethics involved and I'm happy to read Bo's quote.
