Today I'm busting out my $100 in freeplay money from BetUS.com and placing bets after winning on the BetUS podcast. It is sweet to gamble "free money". With 3x rollover I have to triple it ($300) to withdraw it, so I'm placing bets wisely. I'm only laying down $60 in bets today. I like Georgia (-4) over Georgia Tech, even though I've sucked on any SEC picks this year. Also, I like UCONN (+18) to fall within tha massive spread in a huge Big East game over West Virginia. As an Ohio State fan I have to check my heart to make sure I'm not betting on passion (I'm rooting for UCONN because of the BCS) but UCONN is solid and their D is tough, tough enough to keep it within 2 scores...I hope. I've thrown out predictions all season and my Big Ten percentage is by far best but I don't have enough patience to wait for bowl season.

The show went great, though I have to admit I was off my game as I'm dealing with an infected tooth and many, many painkillers. Smile!

LSU vs. Arkansas

I watched this game, which started as we were recording this week's BetUS.com podcast. Darren McFadden fumbled early and it did not look like he wanted to win the heisman or the game. Well, 200 yards later (plus 50 points, 3 OT's) that changed. McFadden had 206 yards, Hillis had 89 yards and Felis Jones had 85 yards rushing to give Arkansas a combined 7.3 yards per rush. Star DT Glenn Dorsey played through injuries and that may have affected the outcome, but 50 points by supposedly the best defense in the nation is fraudulent. I talk about all of my BCS thoughts tomorrow. and this can has really opened up a can of worms. Give the LSU offense for fighting like they did, but the D really cost them the game. Houston Nutt is a great coach who has made poor decisions off the field (between his "alleged" affair with local anchor donna bragg and Mitch Mustain saga). I think he should stay at Arkansas. Les Miles wants badly to go to Michigan. This must have been a huge distraction for the team. I'm hearing rumors that Greg Schiano could be Michigan's #1, but you have to think Miles is the guy. As a Buckeye fan I hope so. He made some questionable moves yesterday. But he is a Michigan guy, a good recruiter and players seem to like him. We'll find out if he can beat Jim Tressel (currently 0-1- lost while at Okie State).

Virginia vs. Virginia Tech

Wade Peery did the BetUS podcast show on the way to this game. He is a huge Cavs fan and has declared this as the biggest Virginia game of his life. An ACC title game is pending. Right Now Virginia Tech leads 20-14 at halftime. What a great game so far. You have to like Virginia in a close game, but they need to stay away from turnovers.

Conclusion:

VTech had a better team, beating up Virginia tean ub tge second half. Chris long played a good game, but every time Virginia scored, VTech responded. Hard hits were everywhere and it was a great game for 3 quarters. The Hoakies will play Boston College for the ACC title.

Miami vs. Boston College

I almost bet on this game and kind of wish I did. Boston College (-14) should roll over the Hurricanes in this one and lead 14-0 at the half.

Pitt vs. South Florida

LeSean McCoy is a top 5-10 RB in all of college football as a freshman this season. The guys is very smooth. Pitt has a horrible defense. I'm hoping they play well against WVU next week but I don't see Pat White having too much trouble against them. The game is 17-14 right now with USF leading. I'd like Pitt to win. Porn Stash Jr. (aka Dave Wannstedt) would really raise his mojo if he could somehow knock off USF and West Virginia. Considering they've proven to be inconsistent and terrible at times all year, I don't see it happening.

Tennessee vs. Kentucky

Maybe the Volunteers ARE the best team to play LSU in the SEC title game. Georgia is yet to play today, but Tennessee is up 14-0 in the first quarter against UK. There is still a whole bunch minutes left to be played in this one. I picked UK by a point or something but that was likely dumb. It happens. There are a whole bunch of 2 loss teams that should be rooting for WVU to lose (and Oklahoma to win). Specifically, Georgia, who is the highest ranked 2 loss team.

MONEY GAME 1!

West Virginia vs. Connecticut

Well, it's halftime and UCONN's offense has outgained WVU with 261 yards on offense. Too bad they have 2 costly turnovers and are down by 10. It will be tough to pull this one out.

Conclusion:

Wow, any chance for a UCONN upset was lost on the early turnovers. UCONN's D had no answer to Pat White and WVU's offense. Now all they have to do is waste a badd Pitt team and they are possibly in the title game. I lost money on this one. I'm an idiot.

MONEY GAME 2!

Georgia vs. Georgia Tech

Georgia had a tough fight on their hands, but Georgia Tech's QB got injured and the ball bounced the right way for Georgia. I win money on this one, I'm a genuis.

Stanford vs. Notre Dame

Notre Dame wins the ugliest game ever. Stanford drops 50 potential touchdowns. Pathetic.

FSU vs. UF

Tim Tebow and the many weapons on offense it too much for Florida. Gino Hayes talked some smack before the game about Tebow. Early in the game he delivered a tiny smack in the facemask, which did not draw a flag. The next play Tebow scrambled on 3rd and long making the FSU D look dumb. That's pretty much how the whole game looked.

Missouri vs. Kansas

Missouri has looked like the better team after one half, but Kansas has had plenty of chances inside the redzone that they've completely screwed up (2 missed field goals and an INT). Missouri is up 14-0 and you have to believe will hold on for a win. The Oklahoma-Missouri game should be a good one, with the Sooner likely favored I would guess. My early line is Oklahoma by 10.

Conclusion:

Chase Daniel did not get dirty, literally, until 8:16 left in the fourth quarter. The Kansas defense was horrible. They did not tackle, they dragged down or missed completely. Obviously Mizzou is tough, but I seriously have to question Kansas after this game. In my opinion they've played their way out of a BCS game. The Oklahoma vs. Missouri game will be a good one. Right now I like the Sooners.

Auburn vs. Alabama

Nick Saban was the most overpaid coach this year south of Charlie Weis. Late in the fourth quarter a DB was bit by a dog (security guard dog) in the back of the endzone. His hand got bit good. I can't believe this could happen I if I were the guy who was bit, if I had any type of injury, I'd sue. Seriously, the guard dog was probably there to protect a freaking goal post. Get the pigs, and their damn mad dogs off the field. Surprise, surpirse cops raised the level of danger. Auburn one a good batter in an Iron Bowl that is very one sided and anti-climactic.

	WVU is kind of a fraud because their D is weak and a smart coach can really stifle them on offense. I honestly think the top 3 teams are LSU, OSU, and USC but NONE of them might make the title game

	I agree, plus a couple other teams maybe. West Virginia does not have a good defense. And people can make fun of the Big 10 all they want, but plan B, C and D recruits go to the Big East for a reason. OSU would beat up WVU at the line of scrimmage, no doubt. None. We'll have to see how this all plays out.
