{mosimage} Two more games. Two more games and a chance for redemption! Coach Tressel said the coaches had the Wisconsin game circled on the calendar preseason. With a noon kickoff the crowd was still asleep but the Bucks took the openning kickoff, flew down the field through the air looking like a continuation of the Penn State game. That is where the offensive resemblence ended as the Bucks did nothing again until the last drive of the second quarter. On that drive we had 1st down on the 4 yard line. With timeouts left we elected to pass. It looked like we had a touchdown, but an unexplained formation penalty cost us that TD and we settled for 3 and a 10 to 3 lead at the half. Wisconsin received to start the second half and "Bam", a bunch of big plays and two touchdowns later the Badgers led the #1 Buckeyes 17 to 10. Holy Shit! The Buckeyes seemingly haven't been challenged all year and Wisconsin has just smacked them square in the mouth. Now Wisconsin has gotten the attention of the crowd. What happens next. Next is real simple. Beanie Wells and his blockers destroy Wisconsin on the way to a 38/17 victory. Nothing fancy. Just run Beanie and it is game, set, and match. Defensively the Buckeyes tightenned up. Vern Gholstin ends up with 4 sacks(team totals 10). Vern put on a pretty serious rush and was very impressive. James Laurenitis wasn't seen much against Penn State. Against Wisconsin he had something like 19 tackles. He was everywhere. When we rushed the QB he looked very ordinary. When we dropped back into coverage Wisconsin's Donovan had some real success picking us apart. All in all it was a solid victory for the Buckeyes. Again, facing and overcoming some adversity was very nice to see. From what I know we got through this game with out injuries. From a recruiting standpoint we hosted Terrelle Pryor, Willie Mobley and Brandan Thompson for their official visits. The "word" on the street is the visits went well. Time will tell. Two more games. Illinois is next. Each game presents its own set of challenges. Defensively the Buckyeyes will see an offense different from any we faced this year. Illinois had 400 yards rushing this past weekend against Minnesota. I believe the early line is approximately 15 points. Go Bucks!
