Kuechenberg goes on to say " I was up there two weeks ago for the Michigan state game. He has insulted people. It doesn't matter if your an ex-football player, a regular alumni, what have you. He's been abusive and totally, unneccesarily arrogant to the Notre Dame family itself and it's all coming back in his lap."

Kuechenberg goes on, but you get the drift. Weis has pissed him off and per Kuechenberg, Charlie has managed to piss off many.

Other alums have come to Weis's defense, including Mike Golich, Joe Montana and Joe Theisman.

“How in heaven’s name you can assess a person in such a vile, negative way without meeting him defies all common sense,” Theismann said. “I’ve known Bob for a long time, but he’s full of it. He’s flat wrong.”

As i have said in in previous columns in DeathRattle, I have been watching for signs as to how the Irish will weather this stormy season. We have seen Charlie feud with the media. We have seen some players bail. We are now hearing from a distinguished alum. To my knowledge, the Irish recruits are holding tight. This is a continuing story.
