{mosimage}Mark E. May is a living legend. He first made a name for himself as an All-American offensive tackle at the University of Pittsburgh in 1980 and won the Outland Trophy (most outstanding college Lineman). He then went on to win 2 Super Bowls with the Washington Redskins and was named to a Pro Bowl in 1988. Then he went into broadcasting with Turner Sports and the college world has never been the same since.
Mark May's name quickly spread throughout message boards everywhere while on ESPN, as he and Trev Alberts would continually say things to piss people off. This ambiguously gay duo always made outlandish comments that bordered on insane. The climax from my perspective (as an OSU fan) came when May and Alberts agreed during the 2003 Alamo Bowl halftime show that the Ohio State athletic program should get the death penalty. They were clearly wrong at the time and I never heard an apology from May, Alberts or anyone else at the Mickey Mouse evil empire. Trev Alberts opened his mouth about their role in the network, claiming that he was always part of the second-tier team when it came to College Football Gameday. Mickey Mouse did not like that and his ass was fired. Mark May was a good boy and kept his mouth shut. His role has not changed in the couple of years since, except now he is swapping spit with Lou Holtz; a former coach who was known for bending (a.k.a breaking) the rules and has a face made for radio and a voice meant for duck tape. The dudes got a lisp, get him off the airwaves for the love of god. Mark May and Lou Holtz like to joke around a bunch. Holtz acts like May's deranged uncle and May acts like "Mayday" always does. I assume Holtz tickles Mark May like Trev Alberts did but in a much less sexual way. As the season progresses, we will update this profile page with some of the "questionable" things May has said, and we urge everyone to leave a comment about your favorite Mayday moments.
You can create profiles for announcers/media persons just like a player/recruit profile. The difference is they should go into the "News" section and "Kill the Messenger" category. We'll be pumping out media profiles as much as we can and if you want to author one, let us know.

Lloyds, Man it is about time somebody talked about booting Lou Holtz off the air. He can't even string together a coherent sentence in English without sounding like Daffy Duck. He's also constantly defending Notre Dame, whichis understandable but he needs to get off it. He is no longer at ND so he can either stop talking about them all the time or pack his bags. ESPN should fre Lou Holtz immediately and nobody would miss him. |
