Coach Ferentz has to deal with... Coach Ferentz has to deal with a part of the head coaches job that no coach would want to deal with. Dominique Douglas and Anthony Bowman have both been charged with the criminal offense of using 2 other peoples credit cards to make purchases totalling $2016.76. The unauthorized use of anothers credit card in Iowa is a Class D felony, punishable by 5 years in jail and a fine up to $7500.00. Douglas led the Hawkeyes in receiving last year and was certainly counted on to lead the Hawkeyes, this his 2nd year. Bowman, also a WR played special teams last year and is also in his 2nd year. Both players have been indefinitely suspended from the team. Great news for a program about to start a new season. {mosimage} {mosimage}

WOW, that sucks for Iowa. Those were two HUGE "gets" for Iowa in the college football recruiting circle last year. Douglass is tough and Bowman was supposed to have a bright future. There must be a meltdown on the Iowa boards. Not a good way to break in a new QB. Dumbasses, right before the season too. |
