Breakdown:

As the runner-up in last year's heisman trophy run, you'd assume Darren McFadden would be considered the top candidate in 2007, but he is not. That honor, atleast according to the oddmakers, goes to John David Booty and Steve Slaton. I don't know about the Heisman race as much, but I know for sure in a street fight McFadden would have the clear advantage. Booty is a QB so he won't put up a fight. Steve Slaton would show up waving a white flag. On the football field McFadden was very good in 2006 (2006: 284 carries, 1,647 yards, 14 touchdowns; 11 catches, 149 yards, 1 touchdown).

His detractors argue of tainted surrounding, which again has nothing to do with the football field. Or, then again, maybe it will. The Nutt text message fiasco was nutt good.

The QB fiasco was....very much related to the test message fiasco. That was nutt good either.

Still, McFadden is a horse ready to bust out of the stable this year. I don't care who the offensive coordinator is, just hand the ball off. Anyone who calls for more passing should politely leave the stadium and do everyone a favor; shut the hell up!

	Great article and I agree on the Heisman watch at least from what I saw last year. Although he did not do well in his bowl game.
