#28 Jonathan Stewart | RB Full Name: Jonathan Stewart Born: March 21, 1987 Hometown: Lacey, WA Height: 5-11 Weight: 230 lbs. Age: 20 Pos: RB Class: Junior ATT 183 | YDS 981 | TD 10
2007 stat tracker: Week 1: 14 rush, 67 yards Breakdown: Jonathan Stewart was one of those guys who had highlight reels you could not believe in high school. He struggled in his first season but began to show his ability in year two, averaging 7.2 yards per carry. Stewart has numerous skills, excellent balance and surprising speed. Plus he'll run over you. Overall, Stewart will have to prove to be more consistent. He'll get over 1000 yards and set himself up for the NFL but it will be tough to get invited to New York.
Hook14 No, I’m not talking about the infamous host of The Daily Show. Nor am I talking about a guy who pokes fun at a certain Mr. Bush. Who I am talking about is maybe the most talented tailback in America that no one knows about. Some fans may, however, compare this man to another Bush of sorts. Not the former, of course, being President George W. Bush, but Reggie Bush, the infamous USC tailback who tore up defenses across this great land of ours just a few years back with his electrifying all-around athleticism and playmaking ability.
Folks, the man that I am referring to is the “other” Jonathan Stewart.
The junior running back/return extraordinair for the University of
Oregon Ducks. Not only does this hunger-filled, talented back display
the unique athleticism, hands, and instantaneous playmaking ability of
Bush, but he does it all at a whopping 230 lbs.! There’s no mistaking
that almost every single one of these pounds is made of pure,
unadulterated, game-breaking muscle.
