Note: If you find this confusing, submit via the EASY SUBMIT GUIDE. While faster, this option has less options. ULTIMATE SUBMIT GUIDE As an Author of a page, you can always edit or as we call it, "enhance" previously published material. This is particluarly useful for bios, where you can update the entry so visitors can catch the latest news without having to sift through a bunch of nonsense. Commenting is of course encouraged, but as far as the article or bio only the author or manager can add what they feel is important or interesting info. If you create bio's and don't update them, you will lose rights to edit the article and it will be handed to someone who wants to. This may not always happen, but with guys who have much public interest at all it could happen at our discretion. We have gone over our easy submit guide previously. The following is many of the publishing options for submitted articles. Our management team will always have access to these options. How do you edit? 1. log in 2. Just to the right of the article title is a pen and pager outline, click that and you should see the article ready to be edited. Or, go to the enhance media section under user menu. There are two fields you have to write in when submitting content. They are:
The intro text is viewable in some cases where the full article is not shown. It will also be displayed above the full article. The main text is just that, the main text of your article. The Text EditorThe text editor you use to submit articles has a lot of options. You can click on one of the submit content links in your user menu to view it and experiment with all the possible features you can use to enhance your article. You can make lists, align your text, input tables, use anchor links insert images, etc. If you don't know how to adjust and use these items, don't worry, it isn't mandatory it's just an added feature. NOTE: To submit images you have to have a URL associated with it, and it must be copyright free with full permissions. Extra OptionsAt the bottom of the area where you're submitting content, you will notice three tabs:
*Inserting an Image
*Setting Publishing OptionsYou can set some publishing options for each one of your articles, but some options will be overridden depending upon your position within leniche. You can choose whether or not your article is published. For this option, if you decide not to publish you article, it will stay in your drafts and you can always go back and edit through the "View/Edit Content" link in your user menu. The Access level option is set to public, this option is there, but overridden automatically by the admin to display to the public Author Alias. If you so choose, you are more than welcome to. Start publishing date and time are editable, but are overridden by admin according to universal time standards. Do not touch this. We handle when things are published. If you do it by accident that's fine, nothing is irreversible. If it is deemed malicious in intent than we will ban your i.p. address for the hassle. Also, don't change the TITLE of your article. We think it is easier and better to keep the same titles when scanning for material. Changed titles get confusing. Again, abuse of this rule will result in detention and time out all at once. *MetadataPlease make sure you fill in the meta data every time you submit an article. It will give you more exposure because you will receive more page views. Just fill in a brief description, and some of the keywords you used within your article. Don't forget to always watch the page views of your articles through your user profile! *Tags (BLOG)When writing entries, you're given the option to include TAGs. Tags are going to be the same type of keywords you would have put in your content. You should put at least 5-8 keywords in this field. Why? Because it makes your content easier to find, search for and will ultimately give you more page views, which in turn gives you more $ through your Adsense sharing! We are working hard to make everything as easy as possible and feedback is welcome.
