{mosimage} 7/26/07 Took a day off of Buckeye news. Went offshore for the day and we were rewarded with a 50lb.cobia. Fun on the line, in the boat, and on the grill. It is being reported that OSU has now extended an offer to TE prospect Nic DiLillo. Nic has previously verballed to Clemson, and then changed his committment to Pitt. Initially we offered TE Kyle Rudolph who committed to Notre Dame. We passed on Moore who verballed to Michigan. We then Offered Kevin Koger who also was a commit to Michigan. After Kroger, we offered California TE prospect Blake Ayles, who just committed to USC. Now, we have offered DiLillo. I, for one, would like to see us get a tight end who wants to be a Buckeye. It will be interesting to watch these various players over their careers to see who pans out, and who does not.7/24/07 We are on the way to having a fine football recruiting season. As noted below, we have had some swings and misses, and we will have more. At the same time, there is continuing to eb some positive recruiting news and some pretty interesting stuff. If you follow recruiting you know that some of our verbal commitments have attempted to help with the 2008 recruiting class. It is presently being reported that Terrelle Pryor, top QB recruit nationally is or will be in the Orlando area for a Basketball tournament and while there will either stay with or hang with Michael Brewster, our highly touted football center recruit. I pretty much know nothing, but would consider personal relationships between recruits to be important in the recruiting process. Seems cool to me. This is what the reported cobia would look like {mosimage}
