Page 1 of 2 {mosimage}Who is left and where may they go? Starting to get into the dog days of summer. Football news is slow, unless of course you are reviewing the police blotter. Went to an Ohio State site today, the Ozone, and news must be so slow there hasn't been an article posted since the 18th. Took a look at Scout.com and ran into an article wherein they list who they believe to be the 20 top HS senoirs to be that have yet to verbally commit. They are as follows: 1, Arthur Brown, MLB, Wichita, Ks.- Per scout, Brown has a long list of schools he is interested in, looking to narrow the list to 10 by September 2. Terrelle Pryor, QB, Jeannette, Pa.- Again, there are multiple players for Terrelle. The Ohio State University is looking good at this time. 3. Julio Jones, WR, Foley, Al.-Looking at the typical southern schools, plus Oklahoma and USC. 4 Darrell Scott, RB, Ventura, Ca.-Looks like Scott is leaving California. Born in Tallahasse both FSU and the Gators are players, as is LSU. Family connections would point to Colorado.{mosimage} 5. Will Hill, S, Jersey City, N.J.-The prevailing opinion is that Florida will be tough to beat for Hill. 6. Shayne Hale, DE, Monroeville, Pa.-At this time the favorites appear to be Michigan, OSU, West Virginia, and Virginia-At one time, and maybe now, many viewed Hale as favoring OSU. Adding to the suspense surrounding Shayne's recruitment is that it has been publicly stated by others besides Shayne that he and, I believe his cousin Cameron Sadler are a package deal. Sadler has been offered by all except OSU. My experience is these package deals do not pan out. For shits and giggles, I would like to see Hale verbally commit and then see if the Sadler offers remain. 7. T.J. Bryant, CB, Tallahassee, Fl., Hard to believe Bryant may not be a Seminole, but that is possible. Again, T.J. favors the southern schools plus Oklahoma and USC. As with a few others, it appears Alabama is in the mix with Coach Saban. I further believe it is interesting to see Oklahoma in the mix. 8. Kavario Middleton, DE/TE, Lakewood Lakes, Wa., - It would appear the Washington Huskies are the team to beat for Middleton's services. 9. Marcus Fortston, DT, Miami, Fl.,-Again, everyone is after Fortston, with also USC and Notre Dame involved. It looks like Miami is the team to beat. As an aside, Miami needs to secure local talent like Forston, as does Washington needing Middleton. 10. Jon major, SLB,Parker,Co.-Per Scout, Major has pared his list to 11 schools and the "experts" seem to have no real clue. Players for Major' services are Alabama, Colorado, Michigan, Nebraska, Northwestern, Oklahoma, Tennessee, USC, Virginia, and Wisconsin.
