Sports are fun. Work is work. We should be able to enjoy sports, but there sure is a bunch of crap out there today. You can be subjected to the crap without even trying to find it. The shit is everywhere.

Of course you have Michael Vick. I believe I've read the NFL has averaged an arrest and a half p/wk since the beginning of the year.

I found myself over the weekend past, in between fishin' and playing with my grandson, thinking college football needs to start just so I can concentrate on that, and not all this other crap-of course conveniently forgetting for a moment that we will hear countless stories about the Penn State home invaders and their teammates cleaning the stadium after home games.

So I come to work Monday, and since I don't work very hard, I peruse the news and see that new head coach Tim Brewster of the University of Minnesota has dismissed 4 of his footballers for some type of what appears to be a serious sex crime. Not only are we going to commit a sex crime, but apparently these players decided to video some of their criminal conduct with their cellphone. I don't know Coach Brewster, but feel bad for him that he has to deal with this type of crap in his new job.

So I guess I am now to the point of recognizing that the crap has even infected my sport-college sports, but I don't have to like it. Probably have reached the point of acceptance, just hoping the dark cloud of bullshit passes by my team and lands somewhere else-sorry Coach Brewster, your turn. Anyhow, heres rooting for fall camp to start so we can hear about who our nickel back will be, at least in between stories about how clean the Penn State Stadium is.
