Page 1 of 2 Reminiscent of when we were all 5th grade boys talking about who the hottest girls in the grade were, ESPN's NOW series embodies what the off-season (baseball July) and the leading entertainment sports network have grown into; dry turds. Poop that is crusty. Did you ever vote who was the hottest in your grade? We did. Me and my friends. Sounds pretty foolish now, but before the "touchin' stuff" comes I guess you have to occupy your time with statistical analyses on boob size, face, body, and....uh...personality. This prepubescent behavior is acceptable for kids. As grown ups we find other things, or, at least MEN used to. Right? Sports give us a reason to rank things. The stock market. Gambling. Statistical analyses is endless, as man furthers it's conquest towards ultimate stupidity. But not ESPN, as the say "fuck it" to civil order. Now, they are going to gather around a bunch of camera's like it is a boy scout camp fire and talk about who is n-n-n-naw screw it. It's a self defeating battle to fight it. After all, I caught the fierce convo about Peyton Manning and Amanda Beard. Beard has sex appeal. Mannings done a ton of commercials. You know, the important stuff. Manning won, but it gave the ESPN guys an excuse to put Amanda Beard's body on the boob tube. huh-huh-huh...he said boob. I tell myself, sometimes, "alright, if I'm going to eat I may was well catch up on sports news since, you know, I try and write about this shit." I get a mouthful of NOW. |
