We first reported this story on June 19, with a follow up on June 25.
The jest of the story is that University of Montana Football player
Jimmy Wilson has been jailed and charged with murder. Subsequently we
reported that Grizzly player Qwenton Freeman pissed off the Los Angeles
County detectives who said Freeman didn't cooperate with them although
they say he was a witness to the murder. Now the story takes a strange twist in that Freeman has now been dismissed from the team for allegedly throwing a beer bottle at a man outside a bar in Missoula. The athletic department is saying now that Freeman was under strict orders to fully cooperate with the investigators, and under additional orders to follow the UM Department of Athletics code of conduct, or face strict penalties. We at DeathRattle are now willing to go out on a limb and predict that throwing a beer bottle at a guy outside of a bar in Missoula is a violation of the UM Department of Athletics code of conduct. Qwenton, you must be a dumb ass!
